Safety
Southern Drone Works, L.L.C. makes safety our number one priority. All of our s(UAS) are maintained for safe operation. Our remote PICs also will be aware of the type of airspace in which they will be operating their small UA. Southern Drone Works, L.L.C. will take an assessment of the operating environment, local weather conditions, local airspace, any flight restrictions, location of persons and property on the surface, and other ground hazards. We ensure that all persons directly participating in the small UA operations are informed about the following operating conditions, emergency procedures, contingency procedures, and potential hazards. We ensure that all control links between the CS and the small UA are working properly. We check there is sufficient power to continue controlled flight operations to a normal landing. We ensure that any object attached or carried by the small UA is secure and does not adversely affect the flight characteristics or controllability of the aircraft. We carry all necessary documentation that is required if needed for inspection by a regulator.
